Dating a Pro Gamer
Funny video! Definitely going into my favorites. I was stumped at question 6 for like 2 seconds before I knew what to do :D
Duality of Deathening
Now, this is one great video, be sure to watch it in HD quality!
Super Mario World Song
This is awesome and amazing, must have taken tons of time to do. The best and numerous times of 11 minute video of SMW I've watched.
Extreme Mario
Just a random video on extreme gaming, funny, but watch for coarse language though.

POP...let's recap the experiences...
09 September 2008 -- 0230. Woke up with a damn fever. Slept in my long 4 to save time on having to change, but twice in the night the fan somehow tripped to level 1 speed, body overheated. Mild fever though, 37.5. Took steps to reduce it, by the time we moved off it dropped to 37.1. Prior to that, another ailment hit me. Breakfast of fried bee hoon plus fishcake at 0236, couldn't even eat, was struggling with the 3 small bites I took. Threw the entire box away. Then came water parade, drank about 200ml and it came. Told my friends I needed to puke, but I suppressed the feelings first then the gag-cough came and immediately I moved to the grass patch behind and out came breakfast and whatever I drank. Sounded off, was placed in front of the platoon, higher priority compared to the muslims...well..understandable...wanted to fall out when I woke up, but after vomitting, I wanted to fall out even more, but somehow I just stuck on. Off we march, for the first 8km, I was walking from side to side.
When we reached the 8km mark, that was a bit crazy, when we sat to rest, all, well if not all, most of Viper had smoke coming out of their bodies.
I was getting stronger as time passed, though the fever was still with me, I was walking more and more stable, but the lack of food caused me to lag slightly, especially with the march to the 12km point. Got kind of pissed and said that it was useless to march in front, which was well, true to a certain extent. The next march to 16km was a bitch, we definitely moved more than 4km. Next was 20km where we were supposed to have 1.5 hours of rest with lunch. But boy oh boy, all of a sudden, "Guys, we're moving out in 15 minutes, we'll be having our lunch at the end point!". Whatever, last 4 kilometres, I ain't falling then, besides, I was getting even stronger, temperature 37.6.
And off we march to our end point which is in the middle of the road where we had to move our reluctant bodies quite a few fucking times to give way to vehicles. It was okay making way for the Guards, but the vehicles where shit. Ate lunch, couldn't eat the full box, but I managed slightly more than half the box and I finished the chicken. Polished our boots, changed and then it was time to move to FUP.
There was about 30 minutes of wait at FUP and then it was GP already. Damn speech from the MP, so bloody long that a few behind me were swearing LOL! And then finally came Julang Senjata, oh yes!!!
After the whole POP was over, went home and I slept a lot, fever increased to 38.4, slept, slept through wednesday quite a bit as well, even for thursday, yesterday.
Last night, I was inspecting my toes and I noticed this red patch on my second toe, I knew it was a burst blister that was so rubbed sore that it bled, I thought of removing it, used my scissors and cut the skin away, but nope, didn't reach it. Reached a point where my scissors couldn't cut anything, but somehow I still managed to attack the calloused skin, when I first breached the blister, the sight scared me a little, because I only managed to cut a small hole and then all I saw was deep red, then I opened the cut up more. The blood was so dried that I couldn't even remove. But what surprised me even more is this, this blister had burst and healed from quite a long time ago, I must have gone though like 10 layers of calloused skin, totally no idea when it burst.

WOOOO!!! Confinement week 2 passed! I have loads to say..but I fear that everytime I have loads to say, I end up typing a few paragraphs. But let's starto!
Two weeks ago, had SITEST, bloody 8km route march left me with tons of blisters so I was enduring all the pain while moving about during the test. Most memorable event of the day 2 outfield is when I was bitten by something, not sure what, but highly possible a snake, what else can attack a human with 2 puncture wounds? Woke up like 0446 or so, wanted to adjust my rifle, the moment I touched my rifle, bang! I jumped up immediately, so bloody painful. Found the torch, upon seeing two puncture wounds I immediately woke my buddy up. Went to see the outfield medic, for an alcohol swipe and plaster...wtf?
It was then two days' rest back at company line before we moved off to field camp with a 12km route march. This time I had my friend's strappal used and I only got like 2 minor blisters. Field camp, generally okay, but the 4th day was seriously hard...that was the very first time I missed home during NS. Almost cried digging the shellscrape.
Ooo! I saw our Ninja Rickson during my 2 days' break between SITEST and Field Camp. Well, it actually was him seeing me first haha...nothig much...just pointing out...

For Lexmi & Muscians. If you're none of the two, then you can skip this entire section, or read to learn something as you won't know what the hell is talked about in the following next big section.
Transposing melodies: First of all Lexmi, there are several techniques available to use. You can try all and stick to one you like, but you have to be flexible to adapt as well, personally I have been using two techniques without me knowing lol...
The first "easy" technique for me is transpoing by harmonic interval. The first step to this technique is to find how much of a "drop" or "rise" there is between the new keys. You can click here for an example to refer to as we go through.
It should be extremely obvious to you that we're transposing from D major to F major. It doesn't matter whether you transpose up or down, because the results will be the same. So we'll start with transposing up first. The technique, is to count the intervals, if you meet D flat major, G sharp minor, ignore the accidentals first, the letters count first. Transposing D up to an F is a 3rd up. But what third is it, here is where the accidentals come in. In this case, there are none, so we'll look into their key signatures. D is supposed to have an F sharp, but we're transposing to an F. So the answer is, we're transpoing a minor 3rd up. Everything you transpose, you should transpose a minor third up. Then the question will be "There's no E Flat in F major?". Here, we'll look closely at the example.
We are moving a minor third up for every note. So ask yourself, what is C to E? major third, how do you make it a minor third? Add the flat and there you go! It is that simple. Now, transposing down from D+ to F+. This I forgot to mention, you always count from the lower key to the higher one. In the first case we counted from D up to an F because we're transposing upwards, but now, we're transposing downwards so we'll start counting from the F. F to a D is a 6th apart, and if you have gotten the hang of it, it is a major 6th apart. So, everything you transpose downards, will be a major 6th apart. The same question again "There is no E flat in F+." Okay, so you start counting down and found that you need to write an E, but what is E to C? A Minor 6th, how do you make it a major 6th? You can't add a sharp to the original composition, so what you'll do, is to add a flat to E, because E flat to C is a major 6th.
It looks very simple on paper, and it actually is, I think I have covered all but if you still have questions, feel free to ask, this is the end of the 1st technique I use.
The second technique, is by using melodic intervals. Which is a little tedious because you're using part of the 1st technique as well, but it works. After finding the harmonic interval between the old and new key, write out all the notes without care of the key signature. After writing all the notes, what you'll want to find out is the interval of two notes in the ORIGINAL key, and then reflecting that in the new key.
We're looking at transposing downwards, so don't look at the wrong staff. In the original key, A to C natural, minor third. Look at the transposed version, C to E flat, minor third. Original key now, C natural to E, major third. New key, E flat to G, major third. This process repeats itself until you have transposed everything, tedious? Very...this is the end of the 2nd technique, there is yet another technique, but I find it pretty stupid, it goes by scale degree, technical names of notes which I find redundant, so I won't write it, but I will if you want.
Next, I think it's like a bonus for you :D. Time is of the essence in theory examinations, and changing clefs is one major slowdown in your examination. I do have some tricks up my sleeve regarding changing clefs as well, I don't know how many people know this, but this is what I will share.
Treble and bass clef is nothing, but the slowdown will come when changing with Altos and Tenors. My trick applies when changing from Treble to Alto, Treble to Tenor and Bass to Alto. It doesn't work for Bass to Tenor...too bad lol..
The first thing to do is to study the middle C positions of the clefs, which I'm sure you already know. Now look between treble and alto clefs. Their middle C is far apart isn't it, but do you really think so? If you look closely, you'll find that the next C available in the treble clef is in the third space of the staff, while the middle C of the alto is in the third line of the staff, only 1 step down. What you think now? Taking this relationship, you will know that Alto is an octave up minus a step down compared to Treble. So the fast way of determining notes in the Alto clef is to move them a step up, and looking at it as if it is a treble clef. With practice, this process should come intuitively. 1st line in alto is an F. 5 line in Alto is a G. 2nd space in Alto is a B.
Treble to Tenor. Likewise, it is the same thing except opposite. Treble is an octave up plus a step up. Bring the note down one step and look at it as if it is a treble clef. 1st line is a D. Third space is a B. Same thing applies for Bass to Alto :) Hope I didn't sound too confusing here. One last advice I'll give you is, beware of enharmonic equivalents. Both my friend and I were tested with those and we were kind of stunned for a while. It was during practical examinations and the examiner told my friend to play a scale of B sharp major and she was like "???" until she realised the enharmonic equivalent, I was given a G flat major...some examiners just like to kill people lol... Following is a quiz for you to take on transposing melodies and the answer succeeding it.

Where should I start? Well...maybe this first, thank God that I am able to do some web development. That is both design and programming...well..learnt something new and can revise my skills in using Dreamweaver because I kind of forgot what to do, especially since with CS3, there is no more ImageReady, which I later then found out that ImageReady and Dreamweaver has been merged into one. Not too bad...thanks to Jia Wen also, helping me with iframes...I actually started experimenting with it, just that I didn't know you got to give it a name for it to work and thus I was always having that stupid white box with nothing in it. Haha…
There are many things I want to do...I have like about 2 weeks left? Yeah...been YouTubing like crazy, especially with my latest uploads, those took long to do, I have 2 pairs of batteries and I finish their charge like 3 times in a day or something lol! Thank God for rechargebles isn't it?
It's that time again, angry posts! Weeee!! Love them...you know, I have a new kind of car specially for Singaporeans. Be it manual or automatic transmission, 1 item will be missing, the brakes. The posture to drive this car is, one foot on the accelerator, the other on the clutch for manual, on the dead pedal or floor for automatic transmission, one hand on the steering wheel, one hand on the horn. No need for brakes, just crash and claim for insurance, I've seen many such cases, I saw this lorry on the highway travelling at about 80 suddenly swerving in front of a car. Worse is the attitude of Singaporean drivers, they don't know what's giving way man. And they've replaced that with honking, like dudes, you see a guy signalling, is it that difficult to step on the brakes slightly? If I were driving at that time I would have cut his lane hard and waited for the green arrow to flash before firing off leaving him fucked by the red lights.
And then comes these ricers, well not so much on ricers, but hell riders. I will remember this forever I think, like 4 - 5 years back I was walking home and there was this Harley rider riding into the carpark below my home. Wonder what's his problem, kept revving his engine up high and doing engine-knocks. Then he went pass me on the other side because the carpark is a loop, and then he made another turn to come back, two rounds of engine knock, wtf dude, go tune your engine man...or better still, keep doing engine knocks till they die out.
So uh, employers are worried of Singaporean workers going overseas to work...lol, that is just so funny. First it was the government, then it was you, and now you complain? The bringing in of Foreign Talents to boost economy and fill up something I forgot. Then employers want to employ FTs over Singaporeans because they are cheaper, and now they are worried about us leaving this country to work. Like hello, you forced us to? And talking about FTs, can you see how talented these Foreign Talents are? Talents...yeah...maybe 1 in 10. Trust such names to be thought up...
Next, ERP can boost business. What the fuck? Reason? With faster driving times, goods can be delivered quickly, yeah right, not forgetting that 2 bucks paid compared to 50 cents. Next thing what, COE can boost baby growth?
Like two days ago, I went to Jurong Point, I brought nothing but my rubik's cube so I was playing all the way there, and from there all the way back, but the I was tired for the return trip and so I half-slept. Sleep, but still alert to environment and all I heard was this two girls talking, like real loud lol..maybe they are talking normally but I was sleeping so it sounded loud. After some time, the dude on, oh, the dude who smoked before entering the train on my right left, so one of the girls sat, after a while, her friend sat too. That was after I decided that I had enough rest to continue the cube. They were talking, I was playing my cube. Not sure when, the girl on the right of the girl on my right must have talked about the cube and then the girl on my right said something like "I'll never have the brain to do it", and I was thinking, you only need to memorize lol...then after awhile, when I finished solving the cube, the same girl, the one on the right of the one on my right, pointed, signalled whatever to my cube, and the one on my right turned. I didn't see it, but I could feel it. Then she did that tiny clap thing...I was thinking again..."No need to clap actually, it's like some noob thing once you know how to do it."
So eh...I've been solving my favorite side so much that I forgot how to solve the other colors, I get stumped and slow down a lot...anyway Kaiser, how's your cube doing...I got 5 of the protective coverings on my white side peeling off lol...and 2 corners of my yellow stickers were a little detached...they have taken lots of punishment…

Took bus 24 home from service last night and it was their latest line of buses. One thing I noticed most significantly was the engine was different, turns out that they changed their gearbox to use something closer to dog-teeth and superchargers rather than turbochargers. That's good, we can expect fastet travel times, not due to higher travel speed, but better pick up speed.
Uh...so now my amblyopia has worsened, totally can't see things beyond 1 metre...what can I do but train and pray...
I've changed my Exhibitions area a bit...thought that area was kind of empty heh..

I guess most readers would have had a laugh with the video I posted. Well, that game is actually pretty easy, if you just look at it, it's easy to figure out, I know some of you will say it is definitely easy to watch, I agree. But some games, you will know it is difficult or easy while watching. I'm playing the extreme version of Super Mario World now, done by this Jap dude who hacked the game and it is freaking hard, way harder compared to the video I posted. Of course, it is a different game, but you'll see. Just search for "Asshole Mario" on youtube, and you'll see.
Was talking about the piano and stuff a few days ago, I don't know if this applies to every single pianist but, so far I've heard of one. I have no memory collection of whatever I play, meaning, if you want me to write out the score for the music pieces that I play, I won't be able to do it. I got to write as I play it. This is all muscle memory, which is better than playing from memory as it becomes intuitive and doesn't go through a thought process at all. It is like me remembering PI, simply muscle memory. Though I haven't completely moved from memory to muscle memory for memorizing PI though…

Pianist versus Keyboardist, same? No. For people contemplating between the two, my advice is, if you want to be in the commoner limelight, be a keyboardist. A pianists' climb is way too steep for the average guy.
One important fact to know, even though they are essentially playing on the same thing, the roles of pianists and keyboardists can never be switched. Keyboardists can be pianists, albeit a weak one but pianists can never be keyboardists unless they change hard or, if they specialise in the right area. Four kinds of pianists I personally classify, even though they are already classified that way, same names, but technically different. Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century. I belong to the third as I chose to specialise there which can be a stepping stone for me to switch to being a keyboardist but I doubt I'll go in that line. If you are a pianist contemplating to be a keyboardist, belonging to Romantic or 20th Century playing will be advantageous, otherwise, you'll find yourself thrown in a world of nutsy-wutsy.
So now roads are full of ERP gantries huh, 5 coming up and 6 coming by when, November? My stand is, forget that 40km/h or whatever 85th percentile crap, jack all ERP charges to 10 bucks per entry and I guarantee clear roads, ain't need to worry about minimum of 80km/h, you can even fly at 200km/h without problems. I think that's the best solution, you want people taking public transports, doing that will force people to do it, you want smooth traffic, 10 bucks per entry will do the trick.
And then when that happens, bus service providers will say that operating costs have risen and will have to increase the bus fare, good, 10 bucks per trip will be good too. So when another China happens, there'll be COE bidding for bicycles. So stupid, they think everyone don't know what's behind their sweet talk...man...

So uh, I received this email regarding the 911 attacks about coincidences with the number 11. What I want to say is, that email is complete rubbish. I don't even have to argue for anything except for one. Note that it says, the first plane that hit the Twin Towers was flight number 11, and just a few notes later, it says the flight number of the first plane that hit the Twin Towers is Q33 NY.
What contradictory rubbish, I hate these sort of emails regardless "factual" or "jokes" type that messes with facts, like previously a few years ago, I received an email that says you only work 1 day of your life or something.
So my advice is, read these emails and take them with a pinch of salt, better yet, do some research before you actually hit that forward button.

This will be one hefty post, are you ready? Ready? Yawn and go ahead.
Probably like two days ago, there's a report saying that this Australian dude is so frustrated by fuel prices that he took used vegetable oil and threw it in his car as fuel, and the report says that he'll end up spoiling the engine as used vegetable oil needs to be chemically processed. Some rebuttals here, and this is important so that you do not fall for media bullshit that runs 80% of the time.
It is true that the Australian dude is going to spoil his engine sooner or later, and not just his engine, tons of other things will breakdown due to the scabs and dirt found in used vegetable oil, totally right. But the one thing that you need to wake up to is this, there is NO NEED for used vegetable oil to be chemically processed at all. To convert used vegetable oil into biodiesel, you simply need to filter the thing which takes hours though. The guy said that used vegetable oil needs to be refined to be turned into biodiesel, my point is, how in the world do you refine refined oil? Cooking doesn't change the chemical compound of cooking oil, so there completely isn't a need to refine it at all, just a major conspiracy to suck your money more.
The IT show, one was featured in the news. This old lady says that the significant feature of this particular desktop unit is that it uses a laptop processor that has a TDP of 75 Watts compared to a desktop processor of 250 Watts. My rebuttal here is, auntie, it seems like you do not know your products well, or you have been conned by the very company you're working for. TDP of 250Watts are long gone with the days of Pentium 4. Those are your monsters, but now, C2D is rated at 65 Watts. Then you got to understand, are the figures quoted at idle or loaded. An E6600 draws a total of 156Watts with both cores loaded. So, it is true that a laptop processor is more efficient compared to the desktop versions, but always remember, is that efficiency to scale? You may well be paying more for what you get as it is a well known fact that laptop processors aren't as powerful as desktop ones.
Now, Olympus is promoting their new cameras. Significant features, waterproofed up to 3 metres and shockproofed up to 1.5metres. Now, my biggest question is, what in the world is 'Shockproofed to 1.5metres'? To the layman, it'll be very simple, but if you think deeper, you'll find that it is very confusing. To the lay person, it'll be, "I can drop the camera at a height of 1.5metres and nothing will happen." The one who sees differently will ask "1.5metres at casual drop or maximum force?" You know, when I see shockproofed up to a certain distance, I'll want to smash that thing with as much force as possible since it is rated at 1.5metres. Marketing gimmicks? Not to mention that that camera's lenses aren't as good compared to Nikon, Sony or if I'm not wrong Canon...I'll touch on the lenses in the future, probably…
I watched Discovery Channel yesterday and there was this guy saying that the "New Al-Qaeda" could use the internet to boost communications and yet is undetectable. ??? Internet communications undetectable? If that is so, cyber-crimes should be all the rage now, ain't even need to go out on the streets to rob! Shooting themselves in the foot these people...especially with Discovery showing more and more rubbish programmes.
All these terrorism, Osama bullshit, man, I don't even believe it...what good is it to Osama that he blows the WTC up? Anyway, that news footage is also rubbish, why in such a low quality? And why did "Osama" in that video gained like 50KG and then instantly lose it the next day? Sheesh...
The US Presidency election war has come to a close. People say that Obama won probably because a female president is socially unaccepted. Personally, to me, I don't freaking care. In democratic countries, the president is just a figurehead. Let's bring this closer home, look at our President versus Prime Minister. I forgot the exact figure, but it's some stupid number like 3,097,xxx.xx SGD. For all his name, our President Mr Nathan gets about 3.1million of pay, while the PM is close behind. The true leader as most would have known, or not known, is the PM, not the President. So who cares if the President is a female? You can even have a 5-year old up there and I don't give a shit, let history repeat man, that'll be the second Pu Yi. And anyway, since I'm on the topic of salary, I really wonder why such stupid figures that even cents are paid. Why not just round it off to a nice number??
Time to end political stuff, let's relax and go into entertainment. Last night's channel 8 show at 2100. Their breakfast is at 1138 :D, the part where the carrot cake was burnt, if you noticed the clock haha! Anyway, in advance for tonight's episode. This girl, Zhiya is it? The one selling bras and shit, her mom found out and said it was illegal. Okay, this already has a precedence, if you'd remember, maybe like months ago, there was this girl from a convent selling used underwear, right here in Singapore. The lawyer himself said it is not illegal and even praised the girl for being enterprising. The only illegality I can think of is when the girl don't pay income tax, if that's the case, yes, there is some sort of illegality as it is tax-evasion.
Last, this...irks me...why are BB and airsoft guns banned!?!? The reason given is extremely lame. It is said, because of their identical make, it is difficult to tell from a real gun to a fake one. And because of that, people will make use of the fake to do robbery and shit like that. The thing I want to point out here is this, Airsoft guns are like 200 bucks. In SGD, they are about 200. What drives somebody to rob? Desperation, or simply for the heck of it. Now, if someone is so desperate as to rob, how in the world would they get a 200 dollar fake just to rob? For BBs, I can't really argue because they are far cheaper compared to airsoft, like 8 to 9 times cheaper. But damn, I just wish that this ban would be lifted. Imagine the fun...I'll pay 400 bucks, get myself a dual glock setup, tons of magazines and pellets and play!
Anyway, when you think of it, the ban was first imposed due to injuries, if you'd remember, back when we were 13, 13 and younger, BBs and airsoft were still legal until that dumb kid got shot in the eye, kids...why aim for the head sheesh, it's not even real life shooting or anything, and besides, shooting the body increases the chances of hitting...argh...just lift the ban!!!!!

Hm...first it started with my hands transitioning to the left, now it's my legs to the right. I used to be a left leg jumper, even though I could use both sides to jump, I still preferred my left, but now in double-legged jumps, it's now with both legs.
Did power and agility training...slightly sore now, especially my lower back and abdomen...haha...used them a lot.
Anyway, saw two girls. We were first heading the same direction but as I was running I pulled away and came the roundabout which would put us in opposing directions. About 150 metres away, they had already given way to me, I saw it, but I thought they were just moving off track. So I moved all the way to the right, when we got closer to about 50 metres, realising we're still on a collision path, one of the girls pushed the other away, to the left, giving way to me. Now, that's earned my respect.
By the way, does anyone know the existence or locations of obstacle courses in Singapore? I've always wanted to do them...

Bad precedence! Christopher Lee was jailed for drunk driving. This woman killed someone and yet escaped with only a fine.
There's this woman engineer Goh Poh Moy. Knock a scooter down off the sliproad into CTE by Braddel Road, drove on to CTE, stopped at a car park in Woodlands to check the damage to her car. Return to the scene 1 hour later, victim pronounced dead while being revived. Her charge, SGD$10,500 fine. Defence, lawyer said traffic was heavy and there was much horning when Goh stopped her car. He said she panicked and drove onto the CTE.
A few questions MUST be raised here. One: What state was she in at time of incident. Two: Any precedence. Three: Why did it take the court so long to convict this woman?
To the first question. If she panicked as it was claimed to be, could she still drive from Braddel to Woodlands, into a carpark to check her car?
Second, Christopher Lee's charge is a good comparison. He was sent to jail for drunk driving, even though there were no death. This woman here, failed to stop, failed to render assistance, got someone killed and got away with just a fine?
Three, why did the charge only came into execution one year after the incident?
Seriously, this case is extremely unfair, damn pissed. Knock someone down, fail to stop, okay, common, but have the cheek to check her car before attending to the victim, still dare to ask for lenient sentence.
In future, I can grab a knife and stab some dude in a shopping mall for the heck of it, run away, and my lawyer can say "There was a huge crowd and there was so much shouting that I panicked and ran to the toilet."
Have you seen the 'Saving Gaia' advertisement? When I first saw it, I was grossed out. I thought it was an advertisement for some horror flick. Tons of blood and that saw, becoming a real boy and then "Do you know what you are destroying" or some stuff like that. How the hell is the blood and saw going to be linked with some green-movement? Totally disgusting and I don't see the point at all, I am right now waiting for that girl who reported against the smoking advertisement of a long time back.
Hm...names are often pronounced different from the way they are spelt, three auto manufacturers I'm going to post here where people don't know how to pronounce them correctly. Top of the list is Hyundai. Next, Audi. The last is Porsche which readers of this website will already know how it is pronounced.
And since I mentioned Audi, I thought I'll say this. Yesterday I managed to stumble upon a blog for the FHM thing. Some competition, I didn't even know they got this FHM competition. So I clicked on the top winner, and under Dream Car, it says Audi R8. Immediately I thought, that is so unoriginal. If the year was 2007 and the dream car was Audi R8, I would have accepted it. Not saying that Audi sucks, Audis are good looking cars and they perform well as well. But, to say that your dream car is an Audi R8, in the year 2008, where it is so heavily advertised, it just seems like a fit-in-with-the-crowd phenomenon. I would be more impressed if it said a Saleen S7 or something.
Still in the general topic of English. This, many people make this mistake, and I am confident to say that they are completely unaware, or assume people are unaware when they do realise it.
There is a difference between '3 times more' and '3 times as much'. To aid in the math, I'll give the second equation so you can either solve by elimination, or by substitution, pardon the pun lol. Anyway, the second part is, '3 times more' is the same as '4 times as much'

The new show from channel 8 at 2100. The magic trick done by this guy, I'm not entirely sure of his name but I'll be as right as possible, 陈宏宇, is done entirely by camera tricks, if you noticed, there was a cut. He held the ping poing ball in his left hand, didn't do any sleight-of-hand, turned his left hand to face his back still with the ping poing ball. A camera cut, and the ball magically disappears. Real magic haha! And the inspection of cleft lips, it is obvious it is only a no-longer-clever use of camera angles.
Anyway, I am right now going to talk about a topic which I guess most Singaporeans would be concerned with. Do you think our HDB flats are subsidized? I tell you, 15 years ago I will agree. But now, I tell you it is just bullshit, a smart ploy to deceive you into paying high prices for something which is valued way below.
As of current conditions, I tell you, you either wait 4 years for real "cheap" new flats, or pay "even cheaper" prices for a resale flat. Laughably, a 1 million-dollar-heavily-subsidized flat is even possible if conditions keep up.
The biggest trap is many people think they can finance their shelter with a 30-year loan. Okay, say you take up a 300k loan, at the end of 30 years you could be paying back as much as 600k. 600k to just have a flat without considering food, renovations, child expenses, study expenses, transport and the works...do the math.
In the 1970s, a graduate starts with a salary of 1,000. Prices of flats in the Marine Parade Estate then, were, 35, 20 and 17k for 5, 4 and 3 room respectively. Moving to the 1990s, 5 room flats were at 70k. Now, graduates start with 3 times more salary at 3,000. But look at the prices of your flats? 10 times increment. Why? This is due to HDB's switch from cost-based to market-based pricing.
If you look at tendered contracts of HDB Building contractors, you will find that on average, per flat, the cost is about 120k, traditionally, you should be paying around 130k or so, but now, with the market-based pricing, they will look at the prevailing market price, maybe 260k and then choose a lower figure to sell, perhaps 250k. Subsidized?
To add on to the problem, flats are now built closer, smaller and costlier. A 4 room flat now can't even be compared to a 4 room of then.
I like to use another scenario to explain this. Presume I am a doctor. I buy a pack of 24-panadols for 1 dollar. I jack the price up to 10 bucks and sell you at 5. I tell you it is subsidized at 50%. You say "Wow!" and start buying, while I say "WOW!" and reap in a 400% profit. Which leads me to think, is our medical sector as subsidized as it is claimed to be?

Works area updated.
Wooty! My physical strength is increasing by leaps and bounds. Wow man, I'm running even faster and yet I only started burning body fats at the third quarter. Don't you love body fats, Kaiser? Anyway, as I was running, I only had started burning body fats then there's this woman cycling in my direction, I thought she would take the long way, so I cut the corner which I normally wouldn't. But alas, she cut the corner and came straight for me, wtf? So I jumped outta the way and continued running without looking back while hearing her mumbling something. Sigh, chinese women always does that, something happens and they mumble, look back and get all upset, what for? Not like doing that will make the problem disappear...and because of that jump, I stopped burning body fats and had to restart, which is damn tiring, but fortunately, me fats started taking over pretty soon. I traversed the last obstacle in much higher speed than ever, but doing that cost a lot of energy and by the time I reached the end I was totally shacked. Felt like puking and broke one of the rules I have by sitting down after a run. My primary school teachers always say that, do not sit after a run for you'll get a stomach cramp. Though I have never done that until today, there was once or twice I did that for the heck of it and nope, no stomach cramp, I didn't even feel anything...sat on the bench leaning over the grass patch watching my perspiration rain down on the grass. Rested for awhile before going on to the second phase of training, where it is the start of my next topic.
Saw a girl, probably around 18 or so. The reason for this topic is, from what I know, Bedok/Chai Chee is something like an old estate. You don't see teenage girls around all the time, in fact, it is rare. For the 3 years and 2 months, from poly till now, I have so far only seen 6 girls pass by that park. Okay some may say, it's a park, who walks there? Alright, let's try more open areas, HDB void decks, it is rare as well. Even the interchange, not much. I go to places like Bukit Panjang Plaza, it is like flooded with them girls. The other time, cellgroup at Pasir Ris, I was waiting for Rickson for Bible Study and thus had time to look around, and they walk by the void decks like 10 per hour or something. Over here, 6 in 3 years! LOL!
Moosic Moosic, nah it's Music. This will have some music jargons, but it's low level ones. The norm, people will think major keys are happy songs and minor keys are sad songs. But not me, I find it the complete opposite and my opinion is, people aren't listening, they are just hearing. When I play a piece in major key, it depends on the melody as well, most of the time I will feel sadness. Have you ever seen a photograph, people are smiling, laughing, no sadness at all, and yet you feel sadness when looking at it. That is the effect, present in both photographs and music, it is so happy that it is sad. Minor keys, when I play them, sure they sound sad, but through it, I sense hope and happiness. Thus, generally, I like songs that has great modulations between major and minor keys, or generally minor keys.
Now that I mentioned hope, let me tell you the power of hope. This I learnt from my brother's church from way before, and before I love Jesus. The pastor said, there was this bunch of researchers, or scientist or whatever. They took some rats, and dropped them in a tank of water. No land, no place to rest, just water. So the rats, for survival, kept paddling and swimming. This they did for 7 days before starting to drown. So they took them rats out and knew the line was 7 days. Next, they took another group of rats, dropped them in the water and started the experiment again, swim swim swim, 7 days, the rats started to drown. The bunch of people, took the rats out. I don't know for how long, it was a few seconds I think, and put them back in the water. Now, these rats just completed a marathon swimming of 7 days, was lifted up for a while, and put back into the water. They were tired as hell but guess how long more they lasted? 21 days. Simply because of hope that they'll be rescued.

Wanted to write yesterday but was too engrossed with my work that the whole day was gone before I knew it. Left the home at 1530 for church, walked to Tanah Merah MRT station and it started raining...wanted to challenge the clouds but I lost :(
Initially when I first started walking to church, it is one of the more depressing things I've done for a long time. I know the path, but because I haven't walked that path for like 3 years or something, I needed to visualise to guide myself. I can see the key areas I'll pass by, the landmarks I'll see, but the problem is, I will fail to see the path leading up to it. In my mind, I'll be like, "Oh wow, it's coming soon." and then when I walk the path, I realise that I'd failed to take into account a 15 minutes worth of track or something and my spirit will fall, and I have to pick it up again. Again and again and again, depressing work, and that was still very evident in my 2nd walk. But at my 3rd, it's a lot better, and now, I don't even have to do anything, my speed is way faster and it's become routine. Great.
Friday, as I was walking towards the interchange to take 25 to cellgroup, I saw one leaving, I saw one lady running after it, and I thought I'll gun for it but was lazy. And the reason I switched to taking 25 is, 25 is something like secured-seats without the squeeze of 854. So I walked into the queue of 25, only 2 person were there, but I thought I'll switch to 854, jumped out and went for the queue and found out that 854 just left as well. So I stayed and waited, it was about 1900 or so.
The weird thing was, the 854 I took that day wasn't crowded at all, anyone would have the space to walk up and down the bus. But that ain't the point, I have 2 points to talk about in this trip.
First, I saw a car. Not just any other car. But an awesome one, I don't even know it's make because the owner removed it. I tell you, that car is so great looking that it'll beat any other hands down. Porsche Carrera GT, Porsche 911, Porsche Cayman S, Lotus Elise, Lotus Exige, Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Gallardo, Mesarati MC12, Ariel Atom, Mercedes CLK GTR, all these are insufficient to compete in looks. Hell, you can even have an Apache Helicoptor right beside it and the Apache will have its rotors broken, too ashamed. This car is BIG, it's got the M3 GTR front wheel body style with huge ass rims like those found on a BMW 730i. Its ass was what I saw and that totally blew me away, 4 Nissan Skyline-like taillights that were slightly tilted, those were big. 4 massive exhaust pipes that says "Your next meal is dust." I will never forget that looks of the car, too bad as I didn't manage to snap a picture of the car.
The second point is, the bus came only at about 1915, and knowing 854 or 25, it'll take me 1 hour to get there or somewhere near that. Which means it'll be 2015 by the time I reach, didn't want to be late, so prayed. Prayed for time to be multiplied, 1 second becomes 2. And when I alighted at where I was supposed to alight, I checked the time and it was 1946!
Received a mail notification from YouTube regarding my video. Listened to the whole thing about thrice...I will never be able to play that way again...the temperature that day must have been perfect for such a great sound...

Try to establish a hobby or something in common so there'll be more topics to talk about.
That is the usual thing people go for in a relationship, but you want to know my opinion? I say forget that shit. If both of you have the same hobby, perhaps running. Then why should you have a common topic to talk about? It only gives you a common topic to DO. Besides, having too much of the same things to do will only cause more friction, not lubrication. There will be a situation where one thinks he or she is better than the other and then some dumbass argument will ensue.
Now let's look at more examples to support my first claim. Assume I have a girlfriend and we both play pool. What the heck are we going to talk about both in and off-field? She knows pool, I know pool, there's nothing to talk about except play. And the most we can say is, "You start", "I start", "Your turn", "Wow", "Good Shot", "Nice Shot", "Headshot", oh wait, a little too imaginative there. There's basically nothing to talk about since we already know what we're doing.
But, in the case where there are differing hobbies. Chances of communication are much higher, perhaps due to curiosity? She can ask me about pool, I can offer to teach her and have a hell of a time?
Maybe some can see it, while some cannot, but, my stand is, it is better for couples to have differing hobbies, but at least to have 1 or 2 things in common still, so at least there'll be some chance where two persons can be doing something while keeping quiet.

Some time last week, there was a news report of some chinese girl saying something regarding the Sichuan disaster as she couldn't play her games. Looking back, I was somewhat like her as well, but not to her extent, I was just like "Eh...can't play for 3 days :("
The 3D industry is getting more rampant these days, initially if it was used in television programs, it was primary to add things that aren't there, but these days, the use of 3D is getting ridiculous. Look at the previous chinese serial drama on Channel 8 TV, program name, "一房半厅一水缸". I don't know how many of you caught it, but you know the scene where the camera is at a far shot showing the whole estate? That is a 3D scene mind you. One dead give away is the lighting, it doesn't fit into the scene at all. And just think, what HDB estate will have the trees at the same place with the same amount of birds flying in exactly the same way? The latest I saw was in the current "变奏曲", this appears less, but I remember it was 2 scenes both with Christopher Lee in it. If I don't remember wrongly, the objects in the background including the sky is 3D.
And since talking about that program, this part where Christopher Lee mentions the abandoned school at Depot Road. Well, actually, that school used to be Bedok View or Bedok Green's old premises, because the building is extremely familiar. But then, what I can't figure out is how the heck is the escape shot. Because there are no buildings or anything which allows a front view of the school and at such close proximity. It may be another school but as of current state, I am dead sure it is the one along the MRT tracks.

Weee...let's talk about firearms today! Wello, I am a big fan of the glock pistol, specifically the glock 18. Now you'll ask why the glock? Reason is, handguns are at the top of my list compared to any other firearms, and the glock fires the 9mm round which is cheap, light and easy to aquire. The glock is also very compact and light, 0.6Kilograms without magazine. Though there are 33 round variants, I prefer the standard 17, more than enough to stop anyone coming at you.
Then will come the question of, why not revolvers? Though they are simple and easy to maintain, reloading revolvers tend to be rubbish business. You either load them bullet by bullet, or if with the special holder, 6 in one shot. But those holders are way bulkier compared to a magazine of a pistol. On a standard revolver, I have to reload twice more to reach the amount I can fire off with the glock in one clip.
AK47 vs M16 Comparing calibre, the AK47 is a sure winner, the 7.62mm round is a beast compared to the M16's 5.56mm. You are guaranteed an exit wound when shot with an AK47, but but but, the AK47 is not as deadly as the M16.
Reason is, the AK47 is a straight shot, if you are shot from the front through your biceps, it'll exit through your triceps, very simple. But the M16's shot is deadlier than it seems. There seems to be variants, but the two most common is, tumbling and shattering. Upon entering, the bullet of the M16 will tend to tumble, giving it a chance to create very big exit wounds, or, shatter, which causes the debris to rip into other internal organs. In the rifle case, though the M16 is way deadlier, I'll still take the AK47 simply because of its ruggedness, the AK47 ain't afraid of sand, the greatest enemy of firearms!

Went down for my training today, and whoa saw someone training there as well. I've seen her once before I think but the point is, I am kind of surprised that there are people especially those around my age who are using sundays to train as what I know is, most people treat their sundays like oh-it-is-a-sunday-and-it-is-nothing-but-a-play-day. Well, also, today I experienced the magic of a human body. This I rarely experience, and today is my second time I believe. It is the burning of body fats to fuel energy output, which brings me to a point which I will raise later. I think I'll raise it now, because I have nothing to say about my training.
It is a known fact that females are better at endurance races compared to males. Reason is, females have more body fats compared to males, and that is their source of power in endurance races. And it is only through this process that weight is seriously lost. So, to those that think that jogging 30 minutes can burn calories, let me tell you, you burn far less compared to running 5 minutes. Because, if you jog, you are taking an extremely easy work out, the body is not even worked out, the energy in your muscles are more than enough to power your jog, but if you run, you drain your muscle energy very quickly which forces the body to burn body fats to fuel your activity, which in-turn means more sweating and faster weight lost. But of course, don't be fooled by the weighing scale after your run, because it is only NATURAL to lose weight after heavy physical activity because of sweating.
The way to know that you're burning body fats is very simple. And I think it is only evident in endurance or long distance running. In the start you run at your normal pace, then as you start to slow down due to fatigue, there will come a point where all of a sudden your running seems like no kick at all. THAT, is the mark of your body relying on body fats. And it feels good, because a training will seem a lot easier, you know you are training, but it is as if you're taking a walk all of a sudden, it's just so easy.
And that is very good training, because, you are kind of fooled into thinking you can go much further, and thus you will go further, which strengthens you even more than normal. I tell you, today I went so hard that I felt kind of giddy after I reach home. It's not giddy like the world is spinning, it's just a subtle feeling of fatigue that you just want to close your eyes and rest. For the first time in a long time, I felt my thighs a little jellified, when I stand up it'll be like whoa. A very good feeling on the whole to know that your efforts have paid off. But of course, prior to this, I already knew my efforts paid off, because I was running further and faster.
Lol, I took a preview at what I wrote and my it's so long, I still have more to say, interesting isn't it?
I finished watching Beowulf, I generally don't like that movie because there were 6 points of disgust for me, but the last one was fine so I consider it 5. Those 5 really made me have reactions. But there are some points of the movie that I like, I'll just write down the timings in case some of you have the DVD, VCD and the PCD(Guess what's PCD?)
00:18:49 - 00:19:11. Beowulf's first conversation with the queen. Well, because the queen looked especially pretty, plus something else which I will not spoil, in this shot. 01:27:33 - 01:28:35. Awesome camera angles here. One thing that I hate about this movie is the hints of sexual content, it's fucked up and I seriously don't like it. But generally, a good movie and I'm sure people who watch this will definitely have one same question or a comment about this movie. :)

Woot, God, I just want to thank You. I can thank you in a hundred different languages and yet it stilll can't express my gratitude. Just, thank You Lord!
Okay, so my brother introduced me to watching Beowulf, twice I was disgusted by it that I thought I felt like puking. And I don't even know wth they are talking about...I'll give it a try later again...

Time for some reflections.
First of all, there is a radical change with my calorie intake. I don't know, right now I am seriously busting my limit, to the extent that I can eat up to 3 to 4k and yet nothing happens, although I can see some accumulation of fats, everything remains relatively unchanged. That is a huge surprise because, I know, my body has a limit to calorie intake, if I bust it, I will be expecting some volcanoes on my face.
My sinus problem is largely gone. I don't know how, probably due to the fact that I have increased my physical activity...
My spiritual life is a bit unbalanced, in the past, I used to have good bible reading habits, but weak prayer life. Now, it is the complete opposite. Oh man...gotta start working on reading the word.

Jesus, is He real? This I am speaking from a believer's point of view but in the context of a non-believer.
First of all, look at National Geographic Channel. You get all sorts of programs on christianity, I'm not entirely sure of the titles, but I've seen "Jesus, the missing link", "Jesus, is He real?", "Riddles of the Bible" just to name a few. If, something can get the media to come up with programs, and it is not just once, but multiple times, wouldn't that mean it has made an impact somewhere? This I do not know, but ask, do you ever see a program or see records of people figuring, researching or showing whether lotuses ever did spring up where Buddhisatva stepped on?
The next thing I want to talk about, is false facts shown on media. The number one thing that has been shown falsely or wrongly multiple times is a guy getting hit in the crotch. Let me tell you, the director or whoever is totally unaware of the results of getting hit in the crotch.
First of all, the "stick" itself don't really feel any pain.
Second, if the "spheres" are hit, it is not the crotch that will hurt, but somewhere unexpected. And I tell you, the pain is something that can cripple you for quite a while.
These I can say with confidence because I have experienced them before, maybe the guys wanna experience them first hand? :D

Hell, I've decided to put up a temporary solution to my tagboard first. Like I said, this is a temporary measure which I will take down by the time I figure out using PHP or XML or ASP as they are easy on their own but hell when tied with flash. Be patient!
In the meantime, I welcome heavy activities to the tagboard but don't come flooding my tagboard with hyphens and shit. Flood with constructive things, if you want that is.

Did you try clicking on "Speak"? It's not yet functional, and is under construction. Well you most probably would know what it is intended for, well, I'm picking up XML for it. Not easy, will need some time, then the long-time request will be fulfilled :)

Saw a Lotus Elise last night on the way to cellgroup, was very surprised to see one in Singapore, not because it is rare or expensive or anything, but, Lotus is not very friendly actually. It looks good on its own, but when you want to get in or out of it, that's where things start to get ugly.
Entering or exiting a car is like a 5 second deal, but for the Elise, it can be a 20 second deal. Two ways I can see to enter is, one you put your far leg in, hang on to the door or the overhead grip, stoop low, put your butt in and try to get your other leg in. Two, you put your far leg in, hang on, put your other leg in, and try to slide your butt in. There's only one way to exit though, and that is, bring the near leg out, turn and try to get your far leg out then stand.
The elise is a very compact car, that is one reason for the dramatic entry, another is that the seats are lower than the door.
I wonder what the girl, the driver was carrying, was thinking when she had to enter the Elise for the first time.
I'm sure many of you have experienced or at least seen one of the low-floor buses. But do you know that there is one interesting fact that most would not have seen? The buses are actually not built to be low-floor, well sure they are built that way, but what I'm trying to say is, they don't come out of the factory with floors that low. They are actually the same height as normal double-deckers. So what makes them low floor you ask. Prior to setting out, the driver will hit a button or something that will lower the suspension, it is very obvious, something like a 2-inch drop and I think the only place you'll see this is at interchanges. When I first saw it, I thought it was real cool because I never knew the buses do that. And I'm sure not many people would know of this either.
After owning a 7.1 speaker system for many years, I sometimes get tired by the amount of space they stand. When I think back to the day where I made the purchase, sometimes I regret not listening to my brother to get a 5.1 instead, because at the time I made the purchase, we spent a lot of time looking for the 7.1 system, most shops were selling 5.1 systems. I have thoughts of downgrading to 5.1, but when I think, the amount of space saved from removing 2 satellite speakers isn't much actually. Maybe a drop to 2.1 would be more justified, oh whatever, I think I'll stick with them till they die which would be a long wait...

Damn, that level 22 Jay Chou song is seriously bloody hard, from the time it was released till today, I had a total of 4 attempts, my best was dying at a score of 28k.
Kind of scary to think that I'll be a conscript in about 2 months, seems far and yet doesn't seem that far actually.
I seem to be posting for the sake of updating, really, nothing much to talk about, don't feel like talking about them actually. Next post I guess.

So uh, Microsoft is facing a 899 Euro thousand fine. Well...uh, I just found it funny that Microsoft is getting fined that hefty sum...just darn funny.
Uh, well I have some people telling me to catch Ironman. Uh, well I used to like him/it but then it started going confusing as to which superhero do I like that I just don't want to bother with anyone of them. But my point is, I'm not going to catch Ironman or Steelman or Titaniumman. However I have three movies highly rated by myself and I would recommend them to people.
First: Man on Fire. Uh well, he is not physically on fire but as you watch the movie, you'll see the fire. The only thing I can say about this movie is, it is emotionally pretty strong, not that it has tons of tears no. It is difficult to explain, so just go watch it online or something.
Second: Identity No, don't come with me saying Bourne Identity or Born Retarded or whatever, no, the movie is called Identity. If you like mystery or thriller kind of movies, this is for you. The first time I watched it I got blown away by the plot. And it was totally 'Wow!'
Third: Art School Confidential Well for this one, the first time I watched it I was like 'Wtf?' and I hit the X button. But on my second run, I started appreciating the humour and it has a good plot too.
Well, I ain't gonna spoil anything too much because I know there'll always be people shouting 'SPOILER!' so, go watch them, it's only 7 hours or your life and maybe you'll get that much more entertainment than watching Ironman.

Misconceptions:
I thought everybody knew this, but it apparantly wasn't so when two persons spoke confidently wrongly.
Dreams do not occur in the deepest part of sleep, contrary to this belief, dreams occur during the lightest phase of sleep. To be specific, this stage is called REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep, whereby the individual will have the eyeballs rolling left and right rapidly.
Thus, whenever someone is awaken while dreaming, it is highly probably that the individual will question himself whether he was thinking or dreaming because when you dream, you are already conscious, all your senses are fully activated, thus you have the ability to think while you dream. Probably the reason why dreams seem so real.
Although fully conscious, personally I think the brain still has the ability to limit movements, especially with regards to muscular movements, by means of endorphins or some crap which hinders you from choosing to wake up everytime you dream.
Which brings me to this point. A phenomenon whereby the individual is awake, he knows he is awake, but the body refuses to move. I don't know about other cultures, but to the chinese this is credited to a ghost sitting on the body of the individual especially in the 7th month of the lunar calender. Please, do you think that ghosts have so much time to be sitting on you? I bet they've got better things to do than to sit on you.
Everybody has their sleep patterns, but personally, I don't know for sure, but I think I only have 1 phase of REM sleep. Or it could be that the cycles before the last REM sleep are so short that there isn't enough time to dream. So it feels as if my sleep cycle is, REM->Deep->REM->Awake, with dreams occuring only during the period right before I wake up.
But then again, I believe my current sleep pattern is due to me controlling my sleep, in the past, I used to dream tons of dreams until I started controlling my dreams...ain't know which is the best, but I guess I'm happy with my current sleep pattern.

I think there is a new strain of the cold/flu virus. This one hits hard, you get it, you get knocked down for a whole day and depending on individuals maybe the next day as well.
And I think I can credit this phenomenon to two groups of people.
First, the doctors. I really wonder, why on earth would a doctor want to prescribe antibiotics against a cold or a flu when it is totally useless. There is no medication that can fight viruses, only bacteria. So prescribing antibiotics against viruses is telling them, "I'll give you the recipe, please mutate." Sure, medical science has made a lot of movements and breakthroughs, but the war against viruses, in my opinion we are still where we were.
The second group of people, are those who get prescribed with antibiotics and never finish the course. This is worse than the first group seriously. They listened to the instructions in an ear, nod their head and at the same time, shake what they heard out the other ear.
Then there'll be those that say, we now have those injections against the cold/flu, but those are temporary? It can be considered as a breakthrough, but if it is temporary, I consider it the same as before.
So now the government is looking at enforcing the installation of safety belts in schoolbuses and stuff, I say forget that shit. A few kids die and you want to look at how to improve the safety for them, what about the foreign workers, especially those in the construction lines. How many were killed in road accidents, now you want safety belts in the back of the lorry?
Sheesh, next time a kid falls on the pavement, someone raises the issue, and the next thing is the pavements of the future will be made of gel.
And besides, safety belts for children is a major headache. Those going across the thighs are ineffective, those for adults will choke them. Pilot belts are not feasible and racing harnesses are beyond budget. Best? A major vacuum pump that will suck their ass to the seats, ultimate solution.

Wow, okay, a small renovation started on Wednesday, then to Friday where it ended. Cleaned the house. Mopped the floor twice, plus with some help it's been mopped for 4 times but still very sandy. Mom came home and immediately I asked for the vacuum cleaner. Man, thank the person who invented the vacuum cleaner, and then God for the creativity. Used the vacuum once and ALL sand were gone. Moved the bed in and it's end of Friday.
Saturday, woke up, waited till 0700 or so, asked mom for rag to start cleaning and moving things. I tell you, there's so much shit to clean and move that even when I stopped at 1600, I still wasn't done. Because in my room, I can say that 90% of the stuff aren't mine. If there were only my stuff, I reckon 1 hour would be enough. Tired, twisted the rag till my hands and fingers hurt. Even today, and the best thing was, I somehow tore the skin off a small corner of my pinky, damn pain haha!
There's still more stuff to move, maybe a 3 hour job, and there's still 1 more renovation/repair to come, but it won't affect me a lot for the time to come.

Wow wow...anyone heard of the Fast Food Song? That song's just great, cute and fun haha!
Hm...finally can play my game again, after the server crapped up with like 5 days or something. One thing I notice, why do they make Jay Chou songs so bloody hard!? There's one level 22 song which is almost impossible man...die in the first 30 seconds...wth...but the good things is, they added a new game mode yay...but the sound effects are a bit crappy lol...

Today was freaky...I went for my training as usual. I didn't have a timepiece with me but I roughly know it's around 1320, made my way to Tampines Polytechnic to meet some friends. As I entered the reservoir, a guy stopped me.
He started asking about my shoes, where did I get it, what model is it, how long do I foresee it'll last, how much is it, he took 1 picture.
A while later, he asked what material was it made of, I had no idea, I was guessing around Polypropene or whatever the Poly materials. He said he'll check, asking me to place my foot on the bar which was no problem, then he put his nose and smelled. After for about 7 seconds, he said Nylon. I was like okay.
Proceeded to ask me if after running will I perspire a lot, will my feet be wet and I said no. He said if he could take a look at my feet/socks, which was fine. Then he ask if he could smell them, as he says he's done the business of shoes, so I was like okay. He didn't smell like smell from a distance, he was literally kissing my foot man...wtf...
After that, he took a picture of my foot, the sole of my shoes. Chatted for a bit more, all about physical training and stuff. Then as it came to the end, he asked if he could smell my foot again, I was like wtf? And I turned him down...then we separated...wow...it's so wth experience man...from some research, I think it was more like some kind of foot fetish.
He asked if I/will feel powerful when somebody licks or smells my shoes, these sort of mad questions that has nothing to do with anything...
Met 2 friends in school, then met the 4 I was supposed to meet. Went home, and almost kicked a chameleon. It was weird that it didn't run away, it only reacted when I reacted to it.

Reflection. Previously on the Newcomer's Dinner, it's some details that I left out as it wasn't really important at that point of time.
When we at the table were introducing ourselves, some guy, I think it was Douglas, not me, who said it. "You might as well say your hobby is to pray." Well at that point of time, that was a funny joke. But now, as I reflect upon it, I really think praying is starting to become my hobby. It is just so fun to pray especially when in groups of twos and threes. Well I'm glad that I didn't have to spend a lot of time transitioning from Desire to Discipline and to Delight.
Ah well...

Cellgroup last night at Yishun. Alighted early by 6 stops at the Lentor area. Thought of walking up since it shouldn't be long, walked for 3 bus stops and decided that I'll just take the bus, faster and won't miss so much of the meeting. The funny thing is, the buses won't stop for you, most probably because nobody goes there, and there're no lights, so drivers drive pretty fast.
Came to a scary part where the path is very small due to overgrown grass on the left. I walked and started hearing some weird noises. I knew I was alone, kind of creeped me out as I didn't want to find out whether it was a snake or what, started running till I finished that short path. Walked and walked, came to seletar reservoir I think. At the far left, it looked like some sort of boat house or some sort, with really bright lights on.
Continued walking, I was seriously alone until at some point a guy in red joined me walking in the same direction but across the road. I have no idea when the hell he appeared because I checked, and about 10 seconds later he appeared, no bus passed on the other side, and no one would alight there anyway. So I was kind of glad that he was there. An 854 passed by and as I looked at it go, I decided to run after it, "Keep it in sight" I thought, since I knew I was passing that lonely place and coming into Yishun area. So I ran overtook the bus and ran somemore, saw Yishun Sports Hall, which was supposed to be my landmark denoting when to alight, but I don't know why I forgot about it.
Kept walking, checked the tracks to make sure I was going in the right way as 854 was long out of sight. Finally saw the familiar signboards of the MRT stations. I reached close to 2000, and for me to mostly walk and run that distance in about 30 minutes, I guess the distance was 2.5 - 3km.
Definitely exciting, seeing the jungle stuff, the cars whizz by, walking alone, really lots of time to think.
The ride home was fast, I was keeping track especially of the Lentor area and the bus passed it in about 5 minutes or so. Haha!
That's the outline of the trip. Well, now, people are starting to look more and more not like their age, this is more evident in females I think. You see secondary school girls either looking younger than they are, or older a lot. So much that you think they're in primary or tertiary education. It's crazy...
What I'm excited about previously and now still is the coming of Nehalem. Even though it'll be outdated by the time it is right for me to get a computer, Nehalem is a major breakthrough in processor technology. It is just so great! By the time I finish my army shit proper, I think that'll be the time of Sandy Bridge. I don't know, I may get a newer laptop, just get a basic C2D for 1000 bucks or I may not even do that...well..I'll see as time goes...think..that's about it for this post.

Woot! Oil prices is now 119.37 per barrel! Just a few ten cents more and it'll be great.

57% of employers have difficulties in filling job vacancies.
I think the main problem is, society has difficulties filling up the vacancies in brains of Singaporeans. Life is too good here in Singapore, most probably that they've never eaten the shit of life before, thus.
Thailand hit by drought again, and farmers are trying to jump on the opportunity to make big bucks. My answer is, please, go for it. We shall see who suffers in the future. Maybe they won't be able to produce anything in the third harvest to come, then they're going to cry for help, cry for aid all thanks to the greed of some farmers.
Oil reach new high again, 117.48 dollars. People are going to disagree on this, but I want to see it go high, probably around 120 will be enough.

Let's start with saturday.
Walked to Expo Foyer 3 to meet with Rickson for Bible Study. Took slightly less than an hour, would be much faster if I were in shoes and didn't have the skin on my feet sore.
Then went to hideout cafe to have a great time of fellowship. Had great fun playing the charade-like game and the bomb game. But the thing with charade is, how are we going to act Daniel out? I think I know how, probably got to try it out haha.
Sunday
Newcomer's dinner near Parkway Parade.
Eat, fellowship, talk and take pictures with pastors
Today, went to train, on the way, so a frog/toad right in my path, I would have kicked it if I didn't look down. Weird to see an amphibian in the heat of the day.

Previously, I talked to my sister-in-law regarding the buy over from Microsoft against Google. Then she started saying how it was first Hotmail, then Yahoo! then now we're in the Google generation. But the crux is, this will not be a Google generation if not for Google's success. If Google hasn't been so good in the searches, today, we would still be in a Yahoo! Generation.
Now the main point. Google and Salesforce has teamed up to compete with Microsoft. Good, someone needs to wake that big name up before it delivers another product like Windows Shitsta.

So now Singapore is looking at installing Lifeline. A device that allows you to jump from the building in case of emergencies at which you'll fall at two metres per second. Said to be attached to a steel reel and can bear a weight of 135Kilograms. Okay, if this gets through, then what, everyone will have to have their own harnesses? The report is kind of too brief, but we'll see what Mr Brazil has to offer.
SCV fined $10,000 for airing lesbian kiss in music ad. MDA says "romanticised scenes of two girls kissing were shown and it portrayed the relationship as acceptable." Two girls kissing = lesbian, two guys kissing = gay? This is the highest form of stupidity I think. So a mother or a father kissing their child would be incest? Good job...
Went to take the Singapore Flyer.
Overall rating: 0/10
Don't bother wasting your 29 minutes for this. Well, it's a ferris wheel, and I don't expect anything either. Uh, but, it is still an experience...maybe ferris wheel lovers would want to try it out?

It is interesting to see how the human instinct, more often than not, causes more harm than save us.
One: When falling, a person automatically sticks his hands out in an attempt to break the fall, with the exchange of high risks of breaking his arms to break his fall which may not neccessarily save him from breaking his neck or anything else.
Two: When trapped in a fire, checking surface temperature with palms and having the surface hotter than tolerable will cause a person to grab rather than withdraw, causing burn damage to palms and rendering it almost useless in climbing if need be.
Three: When fallen into cold water, the first instinct is to gasp. The person is already drowning even before he can fight to stay afloat.
Two and three cannot be corrected, you have been warned.

Hey Heathrow, my advice to you is, just admit wholly that you've got a major fuck up at T5 and fix the damn thing. Shut it off for a week or something. Which is better, to keep it in operation, at the cost of bad PR, unhappy people and possibily more fuck ups to come, or you shut it off for a week, get the darn thing fixed and then reopen. Sure, it's more drastic to shut T5 down, but think which is better?
Now Microsoft wants to buy over Yahoo!. Seems like they agree that Vista is Shitsta. Well, I don't think Yahoo! is going to be bought over anytime soon, though I don't use it much, it still has it uses especially the search function.

Had a dream, ain't know what it means...ain't know what time is it, probably around 0530 or so. Started out in a dark place, lights off, watching some performance. And then all of a sudden, the performance sort of like disappeared, and we had to think for a bit before realising that the performance has now moved to the stage behind us. It was a two-staged hall. And I clearly remember saying this, "Stupid, so many stage for what?" to somebody whom I presume is a friend I do not know. But the good thing was, the performance was taking place right in front of us then.
I don't know when, how or what, but that guy who acted as Jesus during CHC's Easter drama, he appeared in my dream acting as Jesus again, well, I'm pretty sure it was him. The thing that I remembered most vividly was, during some time he was sitting in front of me then all of a sudden he called out "Douglas". I looked at him, and he waved his left hand and said "Hi". By then I was already in the "wth?" stage. Then he told me something along the lines of "No, this is not part of the drama."
Then he mentioned some of my personal stuff and laid hands on me. But he knew something was not right and he told me "Say it". Me in the dream, and me who was sleeping both thought, "Say what?". He urged again, and I thought probably to pray in spirit, but then he interrupted, and from nowhere, I'm not sure if the me in the dream did it, but I definitely did it and said "Amen". Then he left me.
Think I'll end here, because the end is just a bit of rubbish, and I left out a lot of details as well. But then, what was that dream? Man...I don't know, but I'll choose to believe that I got hands laid on through a dream. If God can do all things, then bizarre things like this would not be impossible...

Alright man...an improvement to my mathematics yet again...now I can handle multiplication problems involving the number 9 for an unlimited amount of digits.
Also, the legendary irrational number of PI, I have gotten it to its 50th decimal place.
Ready to take anyone's challenge!

Hm..left this out, one of the lol moments of yesterday's outing was when we spoke to the japanese. Hix initiated the talk, then got stuck, sought HT's help, got stuck and then sought my help and got stuck again. In the end we had to end a half-assed dialogue...man, it is easy to pick up a new language, but practically it is not easy to use it. Most of the times you say something, and the reply is totally new and unexpected. Ah, Ih, Uh, Eh, Oh...haha...
03月30日(日)
Been nine days since my last post.
Well well, went down to Sentosa for a mass cellgroup outing...probably close to 100 people or so? Well, Hix, I am just so glad that you can make it down and have our problems solved. That is just so great...good time catching up. Well, this time definitely beats the first time I was there where we had nothing to do for like half the day.
Anyway, I didn't know people couldn't scroll for this section, well, now you obviously can, and I will smack anyone who can't!
Oh, and my harddisk is going to die soon, I don't know when, but I may go offline all of a sudden for a while haha..

Only for one person: I don't know if you will ever read this.
I don't know what's your perspective, but here's mine. From what I derive, you're saying that I don't see you as a friend. But I tell you, I'm just doing my job, I have my protocols to follow, and I can't abuse my rights. If the guy lodges a complaint, that's it, I lose everything I'm granted. It is not that I do not want to help, but the criteria wasn't met at all. And besides, I don't even know what really happened, who started it or whatever, I was alt+tabbing all the time. Maybe it was my fault for using strong language, but I was also busy handling other things then you just kept telling me to deal with that bugger when I'm only half-aware of the situation.
You say you return to the scene for me. And I tell you, you were the only one I asked. Then because of this stupid incident, you say you're leaving. Okay, I have left too, there's no point doing this alone.
And over this incident you say that you don't want to see or talk to me anymore, seriously, there is nothing I can do if that is what you really want. And that makes me real sad, but I'm telling you, I will always be awaiting your call.
I think that's that...

Man, you know this illness has taken away one thing from me. The memories of sleep. Man, I've actually forgotten how to sleep...it takes me more than 2 hours on bed to fall asleep. To add on to the problem, I seemed to have gain some weird ability that takes away my need to sleep...I am tired, but whenever I close my eyes, I just keep getting regenerated. But since it's fake sleep, it doesn't last long, and the cycle repeats....let me sleep!

Use the right-click to access "Connect" of old, or the links of new.
Mousewheel now works, yes I hated the way my previous scroll function functioned. It has now been removed.
Recently as I watched the advertisement for Hi-5 or is it High-5, I realised that it's been 9 to 10 years since I first saw them. Shit, I remember watching them when I was younger, not that I want to, but I had nothing else to watch while waiting for Digimon to show at 0900. Man, are they the longest surviving group?
And I think my mouse is about to die or something...probably due to the frequent disconnects I'm inflicting on the mouse due to the scarcity of USB ports...only 3!? My keyboard already takes 2 and the 2 it comes with might as well be filled with cement I have use for one though. A single click sometimes can become double click, a click-and-drag sometimes become a click-drag-release-click thing...haha...I ain't want this mouse to go just yet...not yet...of course I do understand the limitations of a laptop though...

Alright, I just remembered that I have posted an unanswered question, so here is the answer.
The game is Risk.
The way the "normal" couple play is so stupid. They get so lovey-dovey and I-don't-touch-you-you-don't-touch-me shit that they kill everyone else first and then end up facing one another square.
To play amongst good friends, it is best that you don't go more than 4 players, otherwise the first 7 may decide to kill the 8th fast, or, due to circumstances, the 8th player either starts his turn dying, or unable to do anything. Then people are going to start complaining and shit like that, but it beats the couple scenario by miles.
Forgot about this, I'm sure you have seen the new insecticide advertisement by Shieldtox I think. The one with Shieldtox Dettol. At one look the product does seem real good, until you examine the advertisement again. It says, kills not only the cockroach but the germs associated with it. Okay, so you kill it at this particular spot in your home, cleared the germs there, what about the path it took? This advertisement's second message is for us to buy tons of it and spray at every nook and corner of our homes.

Alright, so I've changed my the way my menu works now. It definitely is very much better, less resources are wasted. From a minimum of 9 lines of code PER BUTTON. I have now reduced it to 10 lines of code for UNLIMITED AMOUNT OF BUTTONS. Woot! My website is definitely faster and more efficient now.
Okay, time to rant. Yesterday was a joke. I took the elevator down, and there's this woman as well. Being the "lift operator" I have to let the others out first. When the doors opened, she moved out only like 4 seconds after the door fully opened. She stepped out, stopped in mid-way, and I was jammed behind her as people were going into the elevator as well. She walked around to the back of the lift to access the staircase real slow. Blocking me yet again and I couldn't overtake her at all. One side of the path was blocked, and she took like the whole of the other one. Worse is to come, upon reaching the top of the steps, she reached for her hair, and did that tousle-ing thing. And the great thing was, there was an upwind, so all the water from her hair flew unto my face....whoa, thanks mate!
I was at the interchange walking towards the MRT station. Crowded as it was the peak hour. There was this guy coming up in the opposite direction so I gave way by moving left. This joker, a real joker, came up with a silly grin and walked to his right. So I gave even more way and he just kept coming. I knew there certainly was enough space for him to cut to my right but he just kept walking into my way which was like "wtf dude?" And so I thought I'll use deception, I straightened out and at the very last moment threw my weight all to the left so I would avoid him and then curve to the right as there was a woman going to my left. Very exciting...very lame...

Out of the 5 trophies that I own..oh wait, it's 6, my mom broke one haha...the one that I truly value is the one that is the tallest. Was 3 years ago, supposed to go for CCA as usual, but then my friend called me all of a sudden and told me to head for the reservoir instead. I was like "wth?" Was told to go for a run instead. I didn't want to go initially. But then somehow I walked over to the reservoir, met up with some of my teammate. The amazing thing was, I didn't know who would be there, what I was there for. Slowly things came to light, it was for a well, run. We were 3 men short I think and one guy, Vincent, called for reinforcements, they came by way of taxi. So the group was set.
2 laps round the reservoir in a relay race format. 6 runners, 3 males and 3 females. Oh wait, the run is organized by Bedok View Secondary, no idea why though. So we set up. We set it to have Male, Female, Female, Male, Female, Male. Hui Wei was the first, and when the whistle went, he ran like a freak man lol...watching his stride, it was insane. We were first at this point. Second is Liana, sorry, ain't know how to spell your name. No idea how she performed. Then at some point the baton was passed to Fatin. Wait wait wait...then I spot a runner coming, but wait, it's a male. Followed by another male of the same school. Then Fatin came along, I was thinking, "Third. Got to catch up." Looking at her, I didn't do that slow run forwards as would have been a real relay race. I stood on the spot and waited for her to close in before reaching for the baton. I took off harder then I normally would. The priority was to catch up.
The previous two who overtook me were females, call it luck, or call it good strategizing. The first girl was probably like 400 metres away. It rained early in the morning, wet ground, low grip, cold blood. Energy output was heavily affected, but I couldn't care less and pressed on at 87%. I caught up and overtook the second girl 30 metres from the left bend. One more bend and the 5th runner would be there. Very quickly caught up with the first girl, seeing me at her side, she sped up to my speed, I didn't bother to do anything, just continued running at 87%. Soon, she couldn't hold out and fell back while I continued on. Seeing Supiah at the distance, I was freaking tired and ready to give up. And she kept running further and further, I was like "Damnit, stop running!" But as the distance closed to 50 metres. Seeing the goal so close, really fired me up and I started running at 98%, so much strength that I wanted to tell her that we'll run together, but fear of disqualification made me pass the baton and then I could rest. Shit...that was the most exciting run I ever had, panting like a freak, spitting those thick and weird saliva. Chatted with Hui Wei. The girls I overtook came about 1 minute after me, that was the distance I managed to pull. At some point, the baton was passed to Vincent, our last runner. No doubt, he crossed the finishing line first. It was 22 or 30 minutes if I don't remember wrongly. That was 3 years ago mind you. On average everyone did a 4 minute mile. Roger Bannister anyone? lol..
The more I thought, the more I think it shouldn't be 22 minutes. About 2 years ago, I ran slightly more than 5 KM in 28 minutes. So, ah whatever...let's just leave it at 22 minutes. If you ask me if I can do that shit again, my answer would be a definite no. I'm not as strong as I was 3 years ago...I'm building it back though...man...the good old days.

There is one game which under two conditions, you must not play at all.
First: There is a couple, love-bird or any relationship beyond normal man and woman. Second: There is nobody else but friends.
That's right, a game best suited for strangers. Can you guys pin-point anything? Give it a few days' thoughts

Mercenary? To a level probably. I am a fleet-er. Heh, opportunist probably. A combination. When will I see a better group? Probably far into the future. I am not sorry to say I am sorry for moving. Hm...well, you people will see.
I never thought people can bring...joy...to me...not since years ago. But now...hm...okay...okay...that should aswer your questions.

So I stayed in school till 1915 or so...wasn't aware it was raining at all. Okay, so parted ways twice, first with friends then friend. The rain last night was spectacular. After walking for about 4 minutes, the rain subsided, but somehow I just kept holding my umbrella up, it was a good move, because 2 minutes later the rain came back harder than before. Although it wasn't the hardest I've experienced, it was still hard. The raindrops were so heavy that they hurt when they hit your hand. And you can just feel the shockwave they create when they land around your feet. So I was traversing in this awesome downpour for about 7 minutes or so. Reached the point of rejoicing, a point of rejoicing where it only appears when it rains. Continued on and saw a frog, that was my first time seeing a frog during a downpour, it was a medium sized one though, black...crossed the bridge, walked somemore. 4 minutes and the rain subsided again. This time I withdrew the umbrella, I was close and I knew it wouldn't rain on me anytime soon. Reached home, cleaned up.
This was what I wanted to talk about...but had forgotten till last night. I wonder if it's a phenomenon occuring around the world or only in Singapore. Seems like road courtesy is rubbish. Few days ago, probably wednesday or tuesday or whatever...been going to school almost everyday haha...on the way back, there were road works going on, so one lane was shut off leaving one free. Two drivers didn't know and drove up the one that is closed. A year hasn't passed since his license for the first and the second is above a year. Okay, so I was about 20 steps in front of the first car. Them two drivers hit their lights and attempt to pull out. Guess what, the time where both drivers got out was when I had crossed for a few steps from the rear bumper of the second car. Good job to the Hyundai SUV driver who let the poor souls out of jail. Disgusting...
Okay, my holidays are probably officially started...going to get busy...heh heh! I'll see...we'll see...

FUCK YEAH! Finally...the word Gold appearing on my CCA transcript. Well...for my NAPFA that is. Damn..I forgot what I wanted to say...I knew I had something to say last night...oh well...doesn't matter, there are many more chances available for me to oh...here it is...
Molestation and rape do not cause psychological trauma, society's views do. What a true statement...

This is the first article in history that has got me very pissed reading it and it shows how stupid some people can get.
The article was talking if pedestrains and cyclists can travel on the same footpath in harmony. 60 out of 70 readers wrote-in a "No". Following are the best responses, which (un)fortunately are the only two in the article. The first point mentions that many cyclists cycle on the footpaths as they feel unsafe on the road.
Great response #1: A tuition teacher said, "But if you protect cyclists at the expense of another group, it's not fair."
Fucking idiot, being knocked by vehicles and bicycles, which will you choose? Talking so much shit, why don't you be the one walking the road and when you try walking on the footpaths, cyclist write-in to say, "But if you protect pedestrians at the expense of another group, it's not fair."
The next response is just a response that answers nothing and shows the brilliant stupidity of one guy.
Great response #2: A technical officer said some cyclists shouted at him when he refused to give way on the footpaths. "They kept sounding their bells but I deliberately blocked their way."
Best fucking idiot ever. What do you expect when you deliberately block people's way? You expect the cyclists to dismount and lay out a red carpet for you? People ring their bells for you to fuck off and you keep blocking. Shit, serve you right for being shouted at, and you still have the guts to write-in, big mofo...real smart...

Last night was ridiculous...7 hours for NAPFA....registration alone took 2 hours...cool man...I was in the group split to take 2.4km run first...no big deal..doesn't affect anything anyway....following are the results.
2.4KM Run
Score: 10.44
Grade: B
Talk: Took this station first...damn...12 seconds deterioration...maybe because I'm sick? Or is it because of the muscle ache that I have? I was definitely disgusted to hear a 10.44, I wanted this to have a 12 seconds improvement in order to cinch that A.
Sit-ups
Score: 43
Grade: A
Talk: Nothing much to say, it's the no-brainer station...but if you noticed, it was two less compared to my third NAPFA, well, the other time I counted 2 less, so I did 2 more...otherwise it would have been 43 as well.
Standing Broad
Jump
Score: 244cm
Grade: B
Talk: The exact same as last time heh...nice B.
Sit and Reach
Score: 47cm
Grade: B
Talk: Just 1 cm short of getting that A!!! Noooo....more training!
Pull ups
Score: 11
Grade: A
Talk: Yeah, the same shit again, leveraging, score A and stop
Shuttle Run
Score: 9.7 seconds
Grade: A
Talk: 0.1 second improvement over my last...good.
That is all, oh...by the way...if this time they're going to screw up again, the next post you're gonna see a big F word right at the beginning...man...you're going to see it even when I get the GOLD anyway...just await

Second post of the same day, time and instance. Felt this is important and besides today's post will be an exremely long one...or so I see as I think.
A dream...with a twist. Forgotten how it started but it was by the sea, enjoying myself. Was on a yellow float paddling by the sea and somehow something made me join a queue of stranger friends. I never knew them in my life, but in the dream we seem pretty close. The last man was paddling, so I paddled up to her and held onto her float...and so I became the last man...weird...paddling is never my strength and yet I powered the people through with ease...weird float it is, I was on my float, paddling, and trying not to get too close to her legs and I was on my belly? Whatever, made a circle to the left, went aboard a ship. Questioned its sleeping quarters about its design as I couldn't see how it could keep rain out until somebody explained. So I was on the ship, when I saw how big it was, how much space it had, I was really happy and excited, jumped, shouted and ran about...all of a sudden, a big group of people came in and I realise we're bounded to the neatly arranged beds of a sleeping quarter aboard a ship...
Forgot the intersection, or I probably teleported by some time distortion. I was on the train next to the ship...I was alone...then two friends came...I knew one guy and the other I'm not too sure...shit damnit...I know I knew him.....Shi Wei? I remember remembering his name while I was dreaming. Whatever, we were having fun...they two were fat guys...so one leaned on me and tried to add weight to the guy on my right and I told him he could stand it...then some stuff some stuff...
Forgot the intersection again, no clue where I was, by the stern I guess. People were swimming up, climbing up aboard...two men holding their throats...seems like an emergency...two more men by their side trying to help them...then somehow the sequence repeated itself again. People swimming up, climbing aboard. Two men holding their throats, two men aiding them. This time I had a closer look...these helper men were using some sort of lines to hook something out of the victim men. couple of tries and blood was forming at the throat, lacerations and gashes. Then one of the helper was sweeping that hooking thing on his leg, cut himself...then later it cut me as well...close look...lines rounded around the fingers to act as hooks...something sharper than fishing lines? The helper man tried again, failed...the next time, the victim man gave a real loud shout, opening the throat up, thus the helper man went for it...came up with the victim man's tongue...seems like success, felt like success.
The crows cried.
The cold air.
Is it morning?
The crows cried again.
Weird, I thought they've left 3 years ago?
Reality? Memories?
Heard the bus go by.
The crows cried again.
Opened my eyes and welcomed 0537.
The dream wasn't terrifying, but as I thought of it, made me feel just that slightly creepy...turned on the lights in my room for the first time in a long while....there were many aspects of the dream I did not pen...now...besides the smell of death...is there a look of death too

This was supposed to appear first, but I gave priority to the dream. It is really intriguing. Is it the fault of teachers or society, people do not know how to use the following word properly: "Fish". Believe it if you will, check up the dictionary if you will, the following is true. Technically there is the word: "Fishes", but after trying many times, I find no use for it at all. There simply isn't a need for that word. This is the part where people go "what the fuck?", "bullshit!", well, the plural of fish is fish. "There is a fish here.","There are many fish here.". The word "Fishes" is used to describe a group of fish consisting of different breeds. Okay, a group of apples, oranges, watermelons and honeydew is called fruits. "There is a fruit here.", "There are many fruits here.". Taking that, "There is a fish here.". Now the confusing part, since fish is the plural form, it already means there is more than one fish. The same thing goes for fishes. So Singular Fish. Plural Fish. Collective Fish/Fishes. Are it is hard to explain...can't express it with words...forget it...
Sometimes humans cook up ridiculous lies that is instantly uncovered but they remain unaware, or choose to remain unaware...the value of time. Of all the people, excluding my adult friends, only a handful knows. And I tell you, I can name them with one hand of mine. A handful. Oh, maybe one handful plus a finger. Just saddening...sometimes people threaten me with what they can do...but people is beginning to lose touch with themselves...how many on the streets can you find with insight and precognition? Weaklings!
Pain and sorrow...specifically pain. People only think skin deep. Fear of pain, hatred of pain, wanting to forget pain. Fools, don't you know that pain is the one keeping you alive? If you felt no pain, you would have continued running till you died, you would have stayed awake till you died. Realise and believe. But for me...I can say that I am walking the path of death...leave christainity and God out for a moment, not that death. Mortal death. Where was it that I heard...Naruto I think, the time where Rock Lee used his Lotus the second time. By opening the first gate, it allows the user to use his muscles at their limits? Well, I got no naruto-gates to open, but I definitely can open one gate which anyone alive in this world can, subconscious. It scares me, the amount of power you can draw from that source. Surely, I've done it, couple of times, resulting in damaged body...I'll say it is damaged beyond repair. Whether it is addictive or not, I'm glad that I am not addicted to that massive amount of strength. Whatever...my recommendations? If you are not prepared, don't walk this path...heh...whatever...I'm just happy that I'm not dead...
The contradiction of humanity. When you were young. You keep thinking, how I wish I can grow faster to gain "Freedom". I want to grow faster so I can work. Yeah, when you have gotten all that, "I am so sick of work.", "I don't want to be old." Make up your fucking minds. Aging is non-stop. Don't keep yearning to grow and then wish to go back to before when you reached where you used to want to reach. Man...how stupid...I have never said those things like that, because I understand. At this point, I realise I made a mistake, let me repeat everything.
Most of you, in your school days, you go "How I wish X years will pass so I can leave this place and go to work." When the time comes, you go "I wish I can go back to school." Let me tell you, the best days of your life is while you are a student. This point is not going to make any difference, there are no students around me...heh...just my expression...

2nd post in-case you miss. Today's a good day. Was playing games the morning and then at 0830 I took a break and asked myself, why am I so free...I was supposed to be busy today..then I continued playing games to 0906 when I remembered I had to attend the forum at 0900. So I prepared myself and cycled down like a freak. Good talk...Old Chang Kee new product launch at Choa Chu Kang tomorrow called the PIE KIA! Doa Pie Kia, Suay Pie Kia, Pie Seh, Pie Kan I think...
On the way back from service, step out of the train and walked towards the escalator, saw a couple. First reaction, avoid the freaking escalator! Rushed down and saw a guy in yellow T-shirt rushing down...what a good day...never have I seen anyone who is worthy enough to race against. So he was ahead of me, but I was faster down the escalator and caught up to his side, went for speed and those idiots who love to walk in the opposite directions were exciting to dodge at near max walking speed. Had to take quite a detour to avoid the last one, the yellow guy was ahead by then, but I was extremely confident on the upward escalator, ran up all the way, took a huge lead. And guess what? He ran too, caught up to my side and I thought he was really worthy and I opened the taps and went full throttle by which I easily pulled the gap woot! Great day.

An aggressive post again...how I love these...
It is very disgusting to see how short-sighted people can be. I do not know about other countries, but my research so far concludes that most Singaporeans can be very ignorant. One example, their complaints on buses.
Complaint #1: The buses are usually very packed and I can find no space to sit down. Proposed solution #1: Increase the number of seats available. Complaint #2: The space between the seats are so small that I have to raise both my knees to rest on the back of the seat in front of me.
Proposed Solution #2: Increase the spacing between the seats.
Okay, now, the best part is, I can shoot down both complaints and proposed solution with 1 explaination. Well..somewhat...
Towards #1: If you say that the bus is packed, how would increasing that few number of seats alleviate your oh-no-i-can-find-no-seat-please-bus-service-take-my-advice problem? Let's say a bus's max seating capacity is 33, that's an estimate from SMRT buses, as their seating arrangements are more constant, and standing load is 50. How is increasing the amount of seats going to help? Even in the case where 10 seats are added, how sure are you that the 49 standing passengers won't take those seats before you? Actually, I should not analayse this way. Let's look at the really basic problem, how the fuck are you going to squeeze in more seats? Upside down on the ceiling secured with 5-point racing harness? Pilot seatbelts? Or better still, in the middle of the aisle? Then some smart guy will come talk about bus modifications. Add another carriage? The extra long buses are long enough, any longer and they won't be able to negotiate zebra-crossings. Triple deck? If that's the case, accident rates will rise as most bridges are standing with 2.8metres of clearance, double decks are already pretty near that mark.
Towards #2: You say you don't have leg space, I am 1.83 metres tall, and I can sit with a gap from my knees to the back of the seat in front on SBS buses, and a slightly smaller gap on SMRT buses. It all boils down to how you sit, if you slouch like shit in the seats, don't be surprised to hear a 1 metre guy complaining about leg space. And besides, increasing gaps of seats = equals lesser seats = lesser passengers for the same amount of space. Bus companies will never make that loss of revenue.
I could go on further, but I've decided to stop here...been spending a long time here and I wanna go play some PS games.

You guys remember me talking about me getting a gold in NAPFA? Well, yesterday I went to take a look at my results and saw a joke. Sit & Reach, 0cm, F. Haha...what the hell..that means a fourth NAPFA for me...definitely.

Just thinking of the old days with Street Fighter EX plus a and EX2 plus. Those were the best SFs man...many favorite characters...V. Rosso, Garuda, not so much on Blaire though...then came EX2 plus where I started going hardcore Garuda. Then I slowly realised that Garuda has a drawback thatt can get him killed real easily, so I started to find an alternate character that I can master, and I rested on Nanase. Good moves, good range, she can fight at short, medium and long range battles. Very versatile, and besides...the colors for her were very good to look at, especially the pink and blue outfits haha...though she is my secondary charaacter, I've forgotten most of her moves...but Garuda's is still like fresh in my memory.
Well, I could use all characters pretty well, except for one, Area. Her attacks are kind of hard to time, I saw nice combos done against me by the CPU, but when I try to replicate them, I keep missing..oh boy..those good old days of the playstation..

Really like songs by 花儿乐队, their lyrics makes a lot of sense. Man..sometimes I feel time is limited...but most of the time I see that there are loads of time..seriously...but to be on the safe side...I probably better stop spending whole days on the piano...

Taller people can stretch more and thus score higher in Sit & Reach? I didn't know such narrowed perspective can still be available instantaneously. On comparison, the taller may have greater reach, but please do not forget that individually, the legs grow as well. Have you seen any tall people standing with fingers over their knees? Also, as muscles become larger, they become restrictive. My Sit & Reach score is paid with pain, not a natural ability.
Since we're on the topic of NAPFA. I absolutely detest Sit-ups. It is the most tiring of all stations, and yes, I really include 2.4KM Run as well. From the hands, all the way till the legs, every muscle are used...maybe it is just my technique of using leverage, but I just do not like sit-ups...and besides...the damage you deal to your back muscles is mad.
1st of best liked: 2.4KM Run
2nd of best liked: Sit and Reach, just sit and reach.
3rd of best liked: Standing-Broad Jump.
4th of best liked: Shuttle-Run.
5th of best liked: Pull-ups.
6th of best liked: Sit-ups.
It makes me...laugh...to know the amount of corruption we have. Oh oh, did I bring you somewhere sensitive? Hang on hang on...corruption to the English Language. I find it appalling that there appears to be a mental condition where the sufferer will try to shorten as much words as possible, and then concatenante words to come out with words that mean a totally different thing. Maybe I should try doing that for once and see if you can understand.
Wh t he i ths? O n, i can r t n m.

Woot, took my NAPFA test for the third time and this time I have a GOLD!
Sit ups:
Score: 45
Grade: A
Talk: Nothing to talk about, anyone can get A in situps really easily.
Standing Broad Jump
Score: 244cm
Grade: B
Talk: The first time I broke my 242cm barrier...pretty cool...
Sit & Reach
Score: 45cm
Grade: A
Talk: The usual stuff, reach A and stop...I could easily go further haha..
Pull ups
Score: 9
Grade: B
Talk: This was crazy, I normally could do till 5, but somehow I went to 9...really madness...
Shuttle Run
Score: 9.8 seconds
Grade: A
Talk: First time I broke the 10 second barrier...never good at shuttle run until secondary 2 where I switched my technique for running...anyway, made a blooper here...on my first attempt, I kicked the wood out on the second run...haha...
2.4KM Run
Score: 10:37
Grade: B
Talk: Just ran normally and I could feel that I ran hell lot faster compared to my first and second NAPFA. Hated the start...losers had to squeeze the front and block like crazy...and some people had to stand at the grass. So when "Go" was shouted, I had no choice but to use maximum burst to get away from the crowd. Running halfway my shorts dropped...wtf? Good thing it didn't affect my running a lot..anyway my friend had a great encounter during the 2.4KM run. At the turnabout, he was going to cut a fat girl from the inside, yet she doesn't want him to cross and moved to block him, knocked into my friend, sent my friend staggering backwards and hitting another guy, and causing the instructers to go "Wah"...haha!
Overall...3As and 3Bs and a Gold standard...not bad...
01月16日(水)
Man...High Definition...I thought I wouldn't need it...but after watching some shows in HD format, my standard has moved towards HD...DVD right now is like the VCD of then...haha...comparing HD and DVD, HD truely offers a hella lot more detail than DVD, sometimes to the point where it is too much and you can see the pores of the faces of the artistes..really crazy...but the really good thing about HD is its detail in showing black. DVD most of the time can't show true black, there'll be some purplish blots or something like that, but I have yet to see that in HD yet...so...yeah...

I've forgotten what I wanted to write...haha! But anyway, as I was practicing on my unique 5-stringed guitar, I stopped and was thinking about something when I moved my hands and somehow my hand let go of the pick and because it was resting on the strings, it dropped directly into the hole. "Oh shit." was the first reaction, because I was thinking on friday night that the pick might fall into the hole. Then there was this vague memory of somebody telling me the pick will drop into the hole. It was so funny that I kept laughing...the hole is for the sound to project and yet it is an avenue for picks to fall in, then I got to do that sliding thing, trying to slide the pick out...so funny...

The good old days...you guys remember that shit from primary school? "Example fuck", "Example chee bye"? Man...those were the times...I'm not sure if other primary schools have it, but in my school, definitely...any vulgarities mentioned for the sake of an example must be preceded by the word "Example".
You go "Fuck" and people around you go "Orhor, I tell teacher." Go "Example fuck" and no one says a thing. So you got people like me who abuse the loopholes and go "Example fuck" all the time. People mention that I was actually saying for real, I just said I was stating an example...then new rules will come about...man...those good old childish school of thoughts...

This is a problem that is getting worse and worse, my ability to talk. Today, as I was telling my friend the following "The difference recycling can make." I stumbled over the words multiple times. First I stumbled over the double R pronounciation, I was thinking is it right? Does it exist? I even had trouble visualising the words in my mind. So I repeated myself and said "The differece recycling can make." So I thought I shall not repeat myself lest I make things confusing.
And if I were to credit it to coincidence, I doubt so...my ability to speak now automatically subdues itself when in the presence of people, I start to stutter, stumble over my words...things which wouldn't have happened. When I am alone, the ability comes back fully, like just now, after bidding goodbyes, I tried saying the same thing over and found it perfectly normal and easy.
Well, fun things aside, now for the even more fun things. I am progressing towards my goal, though it is a lot slower than I would expect, still things like that can't be rushed...mm...

English anomalies, I will show you.
Fail to plan, plan to fail. Many have heard, but I don't think anybody has actually seen the abnormally with it. Sure it sounds good, Fail to plan, plan to fail, by repeating and then flipping 3 words around, a nice "proverb" is created. But then...let me show you what's wrong with it, you may choose to ignore, or you may choose to ponder.
Fail to plan, totally right. Plan to fail, totally right again. But when put together, it becomes an impossible equation. It says that you plan to fail if you fail to plan. So, "plan to fail" is already a sort of planning. So taking this, there is no way someone can fail to plan, because he is already planning to fail in the first place. Get it? Now on to a similar one.
Live to eat or eat to live. Live to eat will never stand. How do you live? 2 basic needs, food and water. So if you want to live to eat, you got to live first, and how do you live? By eating. So Live to eat = Eat to live.
HA HA HA! What interesting things...

Time is limited...6 months left, and yet I am not as urgent as I am just last week...
01月03日(木)
Can't read the date and it's too bad.
Anybody watched "The Golden Path"? Well well, here is a mistake that probably few people would notice. If you caught it on the first run like me, good. If you recorded it, you may want to watch it. When Tay Ping Hui watched that camcorder shit, it was on low battery life. However, when Chew Chor Meng picked it up, it was suddenly full battery! WOW! What an amazing drawer Tay Ping Hui had...nice nice...I want to buy it!
Watched some Chinese New Year show and the english title is cool. Something something LNY something. Isn't it supposed to be CNY rather than LNY?
Yet more rants, I really wonder, are they unaware, don't mind or simply don't bother...or maybe there's a darker secret...upskirts on television programs are becoming really common...last night during the news, there was one, today there was another...got to be careful ladies...especially on television where it is broadcasted to many haha...
Okay, so now the next trend is short hair huh? Finally...just happened to catch a program and found information...when was the last short hair thing? No idea...well..that's good...at least there'll probably be more females whom I can look at huh? What the heck...no interest though...woops!

Wonder if it's due to the construction works going on...the performance of my lungs are breaking history with worst performance ever. Even running 40 metres is enough to make me pant compared to 1km in the past...what the heck? Chest pains...whatever, time to go hardcore training...new year, new work. My website's coding just got more complicated...haha!
Also, with new codings popping up, my website is now very buggy. Shutting down Tutorials section for now. Also, if you're changing the year from the diary, just remember to click some other months then to the one you want to view...for now...
